Patina was given her name (which means shine) to highlight the shine on her fine fleece. Her sire (DLH Schaccoyo) was of exceptional quality and passed on a lot of his fleece characteristics to his offspring - Patina is no exception.

In 2009, Patina was bred to RFA Pacino and her 2010 cria, EAF Babita, demonstrates how careful breeding can produce outstanding animals. In fact, Babita was so exceptional, she was sold while still a juvenile. Her 2012 male cria, Almond Delight, was just as amazing. Patina was been bred to Splitrock's Maybe I'm Amazed resulting in a 2013 cria - "LeeLoo". Patina was a wonderful mother with ample milk, however her breeding days are now waning with her age.

Patina is incredibly good with people - a very calm and curious demeanor.
